Sip and Stroll: Thinking Locally About Human Trafficking Globally
Students from the University of Houston–Downtown have created posters with information about trafficking in specific countries around the world that have very different patterns in trafficking, in part due to social, geographic, and economic differences. Posters will highlight the types of trafficking prevalent in different regions of the world as well as the government response and any exceptional anti-trafficking effort of local and international NGOs in those areas. Come enjoy some coffee and pastries and take some time to learn about human trafficking outside the United States!
