Prayers for Bobby: Film Screening and Discussion in Honor of National Day of Silence

Based on the true story of gay rights advocate Mary Griffith, as deeply religious suburaban housewife and mother who struggled to accept her son's sexual orientation. Bobby Griffith, her son, is a a gay teenager searching for love and understanding from his mother, who is torn between her loyalties, challenged by her faith, and moved by a tragedy that would change her life--and the lives of others--forever.
