Solidarity Week--November 1 through 5--is a time to reflect on how we can become the best allies we can be. In fact, Solidarity Week was formerly known as Ally Week. In this presentation/discussion, we will explore the ways in which we already act in solidarity with those who experience oppression, and also identify some of the ways in which our efforts fall short. More importantly, we'll identify ways to enhance our allyship so as to stand truly in solidarity with those who need our support. While we should always BE allies, we need to ACT in Solidarity.
