All Day Film Screening & Discussion - "The Mask You Live In" (Multi-Day Event)
This film follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America's limited definition of masculinity. Pressured by the media, their peer groups, and even the adults in their lives, these young men confront messages encouraging them to disconnect from their emotions, to devalue authentic friendships, to objectify women, and to resolve conflicts through violence. These gender stereotypes interconnect with race, class, and circumstance, creating a maze of identity issues boys and young men must navigate to become "REAL" men.
All Day Professional Clothing Drive (Multi-Day Event)

Professional Clothing Drive November 1 - December 22!

Help the UHD Main Career Development Center launch our new Career Closet Pop-Up! Donate dry-cleaned & pressed business professional clothing, shoes, and accessories to help UHD students “dress to impress” during networking events and interviews.

Donations accepted 8 am – 5 pm in the UHD Main Career Development Center, One Main Building Room S402.  Since we do not have a budget to press and clean donated clothing, we ask that you please bring your donations cleaned on hangers. You can even leave the clothing in the dry-cleaning bags.
