All Day Film Screening & Discussion - "The Mask You Live In" (Multi-Day Event)
This film follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America's limited definition of masculinity. Pressured by the media, their peer groups, and even the adults in their lives, these young men confront messages encouraging them to disconnect from their emotions, to devalue authentic friendships, to objectify women, and to resolve conflicts through violence. These gender stereotypes interconnect with race, class, and circumstance, creating a maze of identity issues boys and young men must navigate to become "REAL" men.

Dance & Tone will use strength exercises, drumming and guitar playing choreographed to music in a way you've never seen before!

The Center for Public Service and Community Research is partnering with Family Houston for a three part financial education series addressing financial goals, student loans, debt, and the importance of your credit score. 

The workshops are free and open to everyone.

A 60min. Strength and conditioning class using assorted equipment and body weight exercises that includes focusing on upper and lower body circuits to ensure you get a complete workout in just one class!
