He will discuss his own research on burnout and resilience - research sparked by his observations of suffering not just of prisoners, but of those who guard them. Dr. Williams leads by example, demonstrating the importance of getting to know offenders by name and not just as data points.

Jiu-Jitsu is now the fastest growing martial
art in the world. The art is comprised of four
components: self-defense, vale tudo, sport
jiu-jitsu, and takedowns. It involves using
every element of your body and mind to win.
The techniques of Jiu-Jitsu help a smaller
and weaker person defend against a larger,
stronger opponent. Students will get a great
strength and conditioning workout while learning one of the world’s most effective martial arts.

12:30 PM - 1:15 PM Self-Defense

In this program, you will learn how to neutralize the most common attacks using techniques taught by owner of Sugarland Mixed Martial Arts, Daniel Cantu.  This Self-Defense program employs leverage, technique, and time, so anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, can have a chance against a larger opponent.  Register today and learn to be aware, be confident and be safe in real world situations.
